Abstract

Postmodern criticism is a new and thought provoking phenomena in Urdu literature, here we can see some new facets  of literary criticism. In this article we discuss the basic philosophy of post colonialism with the special concern of its impact on Urdu fiction and poetry. We also high lighted that Postcolonial theory is plying the vital role to understand the strategies and methodology of imperialism. Urdu criticism provide us all the tools and devices which are beneficial for the scientific analysis of imperial culture.
