Abstract

Ahmed Aqeel Rubi is a versatile in his personality and his literary representations have various perspectives. He was a well known novelist, sketch writer, poet and translator. He wrote many film songs those got popularity nationally and internationally. His songs reflect cultural heritage of our region. His poetry depicts emotional thoughts,  sufism and reality of life. His songs provoke deep thoughts of listener. This paper deals with the love stories, tragic endings and different realities presented by Ahmed Aqeel Rubi in his film songs.
