The Status of Iqbal Studies in Turkey

Abstract

Thomas Carlyle, in his on Heroes, Hero-Worship and the Heroic in History (1841) expounded the principal that human progress is brought about chiefly by great individuals. He said that human history consisted of biographies of the heroes.
