Abstract

Hafiz Sherazi a renowned poet of Persian language is famous in east as well as in west. He composed a Dewan which is master peace in Persian literature.

Dewan-e-Hafiz is translated in several European and Eastern languages. Hafiz Sherazi is also recognized as a trend setter in Persian poetry. His language, imagination, diction and simple narration of theses is appreciated by the critics and literary circles the world over. This article contains brief survey of his poetry.
