Abstract

This research article titled “The Disciples and Contemporary Poets of Khwaja Meer Dard and Sachal Sarmast in Delhi and Sindh” examines the poetic response of these Sufi poets' students and contemporaries amid the political instability, social unrest, and religious intolerance of their times. Despite similar socio-political conditions in both regions, these poets promoted love, tolerance, and spiritual unity through their verses. In an era where sectarianism and hatred divided society, the disciples and contemporaries of Dard and Sachal emerged as voices of harmony. Their teachings played a key role in preserving communal coexistence and mutual respect across diverse religious and linguistic groups in the subcontinent.

اور اس تحقیقی مقالے کا عنوان "خواجہ میر درد اور سچل سرمست کے شاگرد اور معاصر شعراء دہلی اور سندھ میں" ہے۔ یہ مقالہ اس دور کے سیاسی انتشار، سماجی بے چینی اور مذہبی عدم برداشت کے پس منظر میں ان صوفی شعراء کے شاگردوں اور ہم عصروں کے ادبی ردعمل کا جائزہ لیتا ہے۔ اگرچہ دہلی اور سندھ کے حالات تقریباً یکساں تھے، لیکن ان شعراء نے اپنی شاعری کے ذریعے محبت، رواداری اور روحانی یکجہتی کا پیغام دیا۔ اس دور میں جب فرقہ واریت اور نفرت نے معاشرے کو تقسیم کیا، درد اور سچل کے شاگرد اور معاصر شعراء ہم آہنگی کی آواز بن کر اُبھرے۔ ان کی تعلیمات نے برصغیر میں مختلف مذاہب، زبانوں اور قوموں کے درمیان باہمی احترام اور پرامن بقائے باہمی کے جذبے کو فروغ دینے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔
