بدلتی دنیا کے تقاضے اور فکرِ اقبالؔ

Abstract

Fragile human beings, created like glass, cannot withstand the trials of time. Moreover, the ever-changing ideologies of the modern era have made it difficult for humans to determine their true destination. Only a message that unveils the principles of stability and permanence in a changing world can be truly effective. Iqbal emerges as a sage who successfully transforms his philosophical insight into a dynamic movement, addressing the challenges of a changing world and guiding humanity towards a clear and purposeful direction.

The first expression of Iqbal’s creative intellect appeared in his book on economics, where he emphasized the significance of economic freedom, believing that the economy determines the inner and outer strength of a nation’s individuals. Iqbal also valued both individual and collective Ijtehad (independent reasoning) as an intellectual response to the evolving manifestations of civilization. According to Iqbal, nature and history are the greatest teachers, continuously reshaping the world from new perspectives and creating novel patterns of thought and action. He firmly believed that the foremost demand of the modern age is the preservation of Islamic identity, as nations deprived of faith and spiritual values have failed to offer practical models of human unity, justice, and dignity  .

با اعتبارِ تخلیق ، شیشے کی طرح کمزور انسان حادثاتِ زمانہ کا مقابلہ نہیں کر سکتا ہے اس پر مستزاد یہ کہ خرد کےہر لحظہ  بدلتے ہوئے نظریات نے انسان کے لیے  منزل  کے تعین کو دشوار بنا دیا ہے۔ وہی پیغام بدلتی ہوئی دنیا میں معتبر ہو سکتا ہے جو مملکتِ صبح و شام میں استحکام اور دوام کے رموز سے پردہ اُٹھائے اور خود سیل بن کر سیل زمانہ کو تھام لے۔ اقباؔل ہی ایک ایسا دانائے راز ہے جو اپنی بصیرت و بصارت کو ایک تحریک کی صورت دینے میں کامیاب نظر آتا ہے اور بدلتی دنیا کے تقاضوں کو اپنی فکر کے دائرے میں لاکر ہمارے لیے باقاعدہ ایک سَمت کا تعین کرتا ہے۔ اس ضمن میں اپنی تخلیقی صلاحیتوں کا پہلا اظہار اقباؔل نے اقتصاد کے موضوع پر لکھی گئی کتاب سے کیا جس میں اُنہوں نے معاشی آزادی کو اہم قرار دیا کیونکہ اقباؔل کے بقول معیشت ہی قوم کے  افراد کے باطنی اور ظاہری قویٰ کو چپکے چپکے اپنے سانچے میں ڈھالتی ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ تمدنی مظاہر میں تبدیلی کے پیشِ نظر انفرادی اجتہاد کے ساتھ ساتھ اجتماعی اجتہاد کو اپنا نے کی اہمیت کا موضوع بھی اقباؔل کو ہمیشہ محبوب رہا۔ فطرت اور تاریخ کو اقباؔل کے ہاں بہترین معلم کی حیثیت حاصل ہے جو مسلسل ضربت سے دنیا کو نئے زاویوں سے تراشتی ہے اور نئے نئے نقش اُبھارتی ہے۔ان تمام عوامل کو پیش نظر رکھتے ہوئے، اقباؔل کے مطابق اس بدلتی دنیا کا سب سے بڑا تقاضا یہ ہے کہ اسلامی تشخص کو برقرار رکھا جائے کیونکہ ایمانی اور روحانی اقدار سے نا بلد اقوام احترامِ آدمیت اور انسانی وحدت کا کوئی عملی نمونہ پیش کرنے سے قاصر رہی ہیں۔
